Ever notice how words change, but things don’t? Once upon a time a person who lived under a bridge and lived off the dole was called a ’bum’. Now they are ‘homeless.’ In reality though, they are still bums.
‘Illegal aliens’ are now ‘undocumented workers’. Queers have become LGBT. Atheists and agnostics have become progressive. And the old word for ‘radicalized’ was once ‘brainwashed.’
Way back when ‘bums’ were still ‘bums’ people were changed, not by elevating their status with a new label, but by the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, in no uncertain terms, “You must be born again” John 3. And they were then called..( ready for this)… ‘Saved “.
The simple truth is this; if you are lost you are still lost. And the only name that can change that is Jesus. Repeat after me: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Repeat that all day till you fall in your bed tonight and maybe you will become radicalized. Worse things could happen you know.
