Psalm 119:11 NIV I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
I have come up with an invention that will revolutionize mankind. It is so utterly new and different in the way we think that it will have far reaching affects. I have applied for a patent on it, and will soon be writing to Dickies and the Duluth Trading Company to begin the struggle to see who will get to buy my idea. But first I will share it with you.
My idea is this: A line of shirts with the pockets sewn under the left arm pits. It might even become cross gender and be adapted on women’s blouses; in fact I am sure it will. I better get a note off to Victoria so she can share my secret.
If pockets were sewn underneath the armpit, then all shirts could have pockets. What is more useless than a shirt without a pocket? They are made that way, I am sure, for appearances sake. With the pocket under the armpit, the line of the cloth would not be interrupted.
Secondly, ‘pit-pockets’, (my trade name) will help keep things from falling out; the arm will squeeze things within the pocket naturally. And thirdly, the arm will act as a sensor. In the event something does fall out, its absence will be detected by the underarm. What a concept!
Finally, this idea is Biblical, as the Psalmist has noted. With a small Bible under the arm in a pit-pocket, His Word is in a place near a mans heart, and at the same time, hidden from a liberal, in case one has to enter a school or government building.
Keep an eye on e-bay; small Bibles and pit pocket shirts will soon be all the rage. You heard it here first!
