Hacked

Prov 4:23   Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Most of us have had our Facebook accounts hacked, or maybe some other personal media has been compromised. What does it mean to be ‘hacked’?

Hacking, basically means that someone has gained access to your account. In the process things they can, and often do, are:

They install viruses on your computer, and those of all your visitors.

They re-direct visitors to other websites.

They place their own code on your computer, then send it to all who visit you.

May I tell you that you have been hacked? Spiritually hacked?

You have visited someone else’s site and taken away some of  what was there: their thoughts, their ideas,  their opinions.

The enemy has convinced us that morals are relative, and the idea has gone out all over the internet.

He has suggested that sin does not exist, and that if it feels good, everything is fine.

The idea has been planted that one hour on Sunday morning is all our system needs to keep running.

And, finally, we have been hacked into believing that our operating system is outdated, and that the Bible by which we live is no longer relevant.

Yes, we have been hacked. Hacked by a lost and dying world that views us as obsolete and useless. Our only option is to throw up a firewall, and from within its borders, send out our own data; flood the world with the good news that all is not lost, just those who have not  been restored.

Paul had the perfect anti-virus, and he shared it with us in Romans: Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
