Paris:
What can I say?
You have heard the stories from France described and seen their face all over the TV for several days now. What have you learned? What has any of us learned?
I don’t know what I have learned, but here is what I have observed, and what I choose to remember from this terrible event.
FIRST: The events were not, as we have heard, “ senseless violence.” It was purposefully planned, driven by hatred, and had a mission behind it. It made perfect sense to those who participated. And it will not go away.
This coordinated, well-planned and, sadly, well-executed series of assaults on innocent civilians was deliberate, ideologically motivated, and carefully targeted. It will be back;. on steroids.
SECOND: These were not simply an “attack on all humanity”. This was an attack on infidels. Primarily Jews, secondly Christians, thirdly, anyone else who does not believe in the caliphate that radical Islam is building towards.
THIRDLY: this is a war: certainly. But it is very clearly a religious war. Fought on earth from the overflow of evil in the spiritual realms. We can not fight it with bullets and bombs. And we can not win it without spiritual weapons. Leaving God at home will only quicken our demise.
FOURTH AND FINALLY: the upcoming election is about who will lead us in this fight. It is not about gay rights, abortion, e-mails, the IRS, or the EPA. It is all about enemies. Evil, radical, spiritual enemies. Which candidate do you think can best protect us from those who have set out destroy us?. Think and pray carefully before you answer that.
The only relevant issues at this point are national security, , a complete worldview, and an understanding of spiritual warfare. Listen carefully to the debates, listen with a spiritual ear, and then consider your vote with care. It could well be your last. It was for the people of Dearborn, who forgot to pray and vote.
