Did you fill the blank with Black Lives Matter? Right, and wrong. Black lives matter no more nor no less than brown lives, red lives, yellow lives, white lives, blue lives, queer lives, women’s lives, kids lives etc. etc
All lives matter. If you are a parent, does the life of one of your children matter more than the life of another? Ridiculous thought isn’t it.
To think otherwise.
The little ditty we used to sing as kids reminds us that God has no favorites.

Joni Erickson Tada tells us that “If you truly believe in the value of life, you care about all of the weakest and most vulnerable members of society”.
I have always imagined life as an orange, a super sweet, freshly picked orange; it is meant to be sucked and savored till there is nothing left but an empty husk. Along the way each seed is to be planted so another might be refreshed. All others. Any others. Every other.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; (all lives) and man became a living soul.
His breath is within you. Live it, share it, spread it, plant it. Guard it. And love it.
