What’s Out There?

Isaiah 42:16 NIV   I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;

Well, I didn’t wake up in heaven this morning, so I guess I’ll get on with life. Wonder what the day will be like; great or gruesome? Wouldn’t it be cool if we could look out the window and see all that the day had laid out before us?

Would it make a difference if we knew who we would run into, or what the boss expected, or where the next problems was coming from? Maybe; maybe not.

For one thing, we would be a lot better prepared. When the confrontation takes place we will already have all the words and tools we need right there before us.

But, on the other hand, we should already be prepared. We should have ‘hidden thy word in out heart’ so that whatever comes up we will have an answer and be ready.

So, I am not even going to look out the window this morning on my way to work; the answer doesn’t lie out there anyhow. Rather, I will spend a few minutes in the Word. Therein lies all the answers to the days needs.
