War Room.. A Place of Prayer

Mark 1:35   Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

War Room Wide

Did you Pray today? Has your day begun in the closet or in the board room?

Did you pray today? Have your first few steps this morning begun in glory or in drudgery?

Did you pray today? Did you seek out His will and direction, or did you gulp coffee and face the traffic: alone?

It might matter, you know, later in the day when decisions need making, guidance needs given, or trauma shows up on the doorstep. It might matter.

Matthew Henry said “Prayer is the key for the morning and the bolt to the evening.”

It might matter at the end of the day when you fall exhausted on your couch with all of life’s blood sucked out of you, again.

It might matter when you throw open the door of the evening with more joy that there was in the morning because He used you for just a second or two somewhere along the way.

The answer He gave you in the morning might have been for another. Did you pass it along? It would have mattered very much there.

The strength He gave you in the dawn might have been given to help you climb the hill he gave you as the shadows of the day lengthened before you. That’s why it mattered.

Did you pray today? Did your day begin in the closet or the board room?

This day is not over: fall to your knees, warrior, and re-kindle.

Did you pray today?
